Infinity Publishing is one of the larger and longest established self-publishing services companies. Unfortunately, their size and longevity does not equate to the quality and professionalism we would like to see in this industry. Their business terms, as summarized in the table below, do not provide the auhtor with the ability to control and profit from the sale of their book.
In addition to the poor business terms, a review of their website clearly shows:
- Generally poorly executed cover design
- Marketing programs that are very vague and undefined
- Some basic services are add-ons instead of being included in package pricing
- Distribution is very limited unless the author purchases large package or upgrade
